After Mark Jones joined the Society, he very quickly became an integral part of organising the days.

Mark has a weird sense good natured sense of humour, matching that of Alan Newell and together they set about revolutionising the Society tournaments into something a little different, but still with a rational, suitable competition for golfers. Paul Tristram joined the daftness  in June 2012  as a new  organiser and has been an invaluable member to the committee.

To this end they set about putting team competitions along side the individual tournament, but always with a twist.
